Any favorite video testimony collection platforms you've used?
We're finally working on asking our customers to make videos saying nice things about our brand
#everything-marketing - October 25, 2024 at 05:57 PM
Ya, I guess my question is more of if you had to sell it now, what it would go for

Any advice on campaign structure so that the learning period is as least disruptive as possible?
We have a Meta B2B lead gen campaign running. Our budget is such that the learning period takes around 1 week. It's mostly all spent in one ad set
Every time we make adjustments, our ad set goes back into learning, our leads get worse for 2-3 days and our sales team complains.
Any tips on how to mitigate this?

This is perfect, thanks for sending. These links are great
@Nativ Yanko would love to see the contract

We're getting our fist UGC videos made. For hiring, any tips on
• Video length?
• Number of revisions to request?
• Script writing?
• Other items? Legality, etc?

Anybody advice with Facebook conversions suddenly ignoring custom events and now optimizing around all leads?
Events manager shows conversions firing correctly, suddenly the campaign is now optimizing on all leads instead of the only qualified ones we have set in the events manager.

I'll check it out. Thanks!

What are people using for Cookie Compliance? We have CookieBot setup, but feels like it's not well optimized for conversion

Amateur question, but we only track our Meta ads through UTM parameters. Post IOS 14 is there a better way to do this?
We run lead gen ads and can't trace back 50% of our conversions (the conversion is showing in Meta, but we can't see which ad group, or ad its in). Is there a better way?

Got it, thanks!
#everything-marketing - January 17, 2024 at 02:45 AM
Hey @João Fernandes for the
emails, do you put them on a separate domain? For example, we use to send a lot of cold emails. We would not burn our primary domain by using
or instead of our primary domain.Curious of the setup

From reading Reddit, the best solution seems to be making additional creative and running it. So no formal test or new training period
#general-chat - January 17, 2024 at 12:51 AM
Any recommendations on how to run a Facebook A/B test without the campaign going into learning mode?
We have a small budget, so trying not to spend 1/4 of it on experiments

Has anybody used the "expanded inventory" ads on Facebook/Meta? I'm tempted...

Thanks Shin!

#everything-marketing - October 24, 2023 at 02:08 AM
Very odd
#everything-marketing - October 24, 2023 at 02:08 AM
This stopped spending for 3 days, then started again
#everything-marketing - October 23, 2023 at 04:02 AM
One of our Meta ad groups have suddenly stopped serving ads over the last 3 days.
Account is paid up, not suspended, no other warnings that I can see. The ad group has been running for months without issues. Oddly, our smaller ad group is running without issue.
Anyway to fix this? Had anybody ever seen this before?
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 03:15 AM
Got it! Thank you so much for the help!
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 03:14 AM
Oh, I see. Final question, to dedup, I can upload an order number (or other unique Id) into CAPI and offline conversions?
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 03:12 AM
This product naming is such a mess. Offline conversion, offline CAPI, CAPI but only offline
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 03:11 AM
Ugh. I’ll set up both then. How does it make you loose mid funnel conversion data?
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 03:09 AM
If offline events won’t help with ad delivery, it’s only to better visualize ROAS?
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 12:27 AM
Thanks all, great advice, I'll try generous cost caps
#everything-marketing - October 18, 2023 at 12:26 AM
I'm a tad confused.
What is the difference between the Facebook Conversion API (CAPI) VS sending offline conversions to Facebook via say a Zapier extension?
Any harm in doing both?
We exclusively have offline conversions (have to talk to a sales rep to buy). Currently our offline conversions is only matching 10% of deals. I'm hoping CAPI can fix this.
#everything-marketing - October 06, 2023 at 11:07 PM
Have you seen positive results with this? How quickly can the ad campaign ramp back up after being turned off?
#everything-marketing - October 06, 2023 at 11:06 PM
around $6K/month
#everything-marketing - October 06, 2023 at 05:41 PM
Any advice on avoiding a "mid-week slump" in FB Ads?
Our ads do well say Friday-Tuesday. Wed-Thursday, our CPA about doubles.
Any way to avoid this? Lower the budget for this period? Set a target CPA?
#general-chat - August 25, 2023 at 07:19 PM
Yes I do. I’. The account owner
#general-chat - August 23, 2023 at 06:18 PM
The credit line part is not active in our Facebook account. Any idea the minimum spend we need to unlock it?
#general-chat - August 18, 2023 at 12:22 AM
Any idea what it takes to be qualified for monthly invoicing (credit lines) from Facebook?
For example, I think Google Ads was around $5k/month for at least 3 months
#everything-marketing - July 15, 2023 at 12:06 AM
Ever experimented with updating static assets to motion graphics?
Feels like it should increase time on site (and maybe conversion) slightly?
#paid-media - July 08, 2023 at 01:02 AM
Any tips for targeting a search campaign by a more specific number of employees?
We need to target 20-100, google only allows 1-250
#retention - June 27, 2023 at 07:26 PM
Double opt in rather*
#retention - June 27, 2023 at 07:26 PM
Think we should at least have them confirm their email address?
#retention - June 27, 2023 at 07:25 PM
We would be following up with leads that give us their contact form. So maybe 2-3 emails a lead
#retention - June 23, 2023 at 01:21 AM
Amateur question on email lists
Do you send marketing/drip emails from your primary domain (for us it's
)?Or do you put it on a secondary domains (say
) to avoid burning the primary domain?#tech-talk - June 23, 2023 at 01:17 AM
Thoughts on making a lead opt into emails after they fill out an interest form?
Trying to get our follow up emails to stay out of their spam
#everything-marketing - June 15, 2023 at 03:33 PM
It looks like it’s now working! Funny how that works.
Now working on getting the offline conversion values to not show up as 0.
Manual upload is successful, value being uploaded is around $100 a lead. For some reason conversion value is still showing 0
#everything-marketing - June 15, 2023 at 12:58 AM
Anyone have experience tracking offline conversions with Google Ads?
We pass the GCLID through the lead form, but for some reason I can't also get the UTM info. It's driving me a little nuts.
#everything-marketing - May 24, 2023 at 10:36 PM
On a side note, I love Milk Bar! Use to get cereal milk softserve at the DC store all the time
#everything-marketing - May 18, 2023 at 07:24 PM
@Srini Ranganathan we run a small B2B bootstrapped SAAS company.
We've been able to get to first order profitability by putting a setup fee.
What is your product?
#everything-marketing - May 18, 2023 at 07:24 PM
Might be something deeper beyond just a poor site, or poorly targeted ads.
For example - we sell a service to businesses. We tried as an experiment to push checkout and payment through the site. Failed miserably. For us, our customers want to talk to somebody on the phone before buying.
Maybe not a 1:1 example with you, but might have something off with your product, it's marketing, it's angel - etc
#everything-marketing - May 12, 2023 at 04:40 PM
We could make $90/lead work, would much prefer $30/lead, but $90/lead is doable
Good to know that recommended CPA is off.
I'm running an experiment of max conversions vs max clicks. So will see the results.
It's just strange, like over the last 3 days the users that are coming to our site are less intentioned. The number of actions they take, the amount of time they spent, is all way down
#everything-marketing - May 12, 2023 at 02:37 AM
What would you do in this scenario?
We have a GAds maximum cost-per-click campaign that was doing well (2-3 leads per day ~$30 CPA). We were going to give it another week before experimenting and moving it to maximize conversions.
Two days ago, a large competitor starting running ads on our keywords and the campaign stopped converting. Full budget spent, 0 conversions.
I can run an experiment with the old campaign (why not, it's not converting) and allocate 99% of the budget to a new max conversions campaign. The recommended target CPA is now around $90.
Am I missing something? Any other options?
