Does anybody have a good Stripe contact they could introduce me too? I need help dealing with a compliance issue for a new account
#paid-media - July 23, 2025 at 12:14 PM
FYI everyone: Temu now has ~11k ads that went live in the past couple of days on Meta in the US. So if you're seeing any fluctuations in performance this week, that may be why.
#paid-media - July 15, 2025 at 01:16 PM
Anyone have a preference between Marpipe/Socioh/other alternatives?
#paid-media - June 26, 2025 at 12:37 PM
Meta reps don't manage their own accounts and don't really know what you're talking about.
It's generally better to gradually increase campaign budgets, but 25% isn't some magic number where if you exceed it, your campaign will get really messed up. Also, the more you spend and the more conversions you have, the more the campaigns can tolerate big adjustments like this.
You may increase spend to 1.8k and see a decline in performance but not because of the rapid budget increase - you may just not have enough or good enough creative to scale that high.
I'm curious about the strategy though. Why spend so much on leads campaigns? Are you getting a good return there? And why only increase the budget for the first 5 days of the month?

Do you guys have a rep @Joel Jackson? Have you found anything else out?
#general-chat - December 09, 2024 at 11:59 AM
Here’s another article on the changes:
#general-chat - December 09, 2024 at 11:59 AM
I haven’t spoken to anyone at Meta but it sounds like it’s going forward
#paid-media - December 09, 2024 at 09:58 AM
Anyone here run Meta ads for a supplement brand? I was curious what people are planning to do with the upcoming pixel restrictions
#latin-america - November 25, 2024 at 04:06 AM
São Paulo here
#everything-marketing - November 08, 2024 at 11:20 AM
@Rose Mayo I think it’s working pretty well now. If you want to try it out, just DM me the page you want feedback on
#paid-media - October 31, 2024 at 06:37 AM
Just do like 3-5 posts. I wouldn’t worry about followers
#everything-marketing - October 30, 2024 at 07:16 AM
Look at similar URLs listed on
#paid-media - October 30, 2024 at 05:11 AM
Warm them up a bit by doing some organic posts before running ads.
Also, I’ve found that FB organic-style image ads can do very well from whitelisted accounts
#general-chat - October 28, 2024 at 01:54 PM
I'm working with a store that's getting almost 50% of their transactions rejected from Stripe with the message "We are unable to authenticate your payment method. Please choose a different payment method and try again." AOV is like $30. The audience is a little older so maybe they're confused with the 3DS verification. Has anyone dealt with something similar?
#paid-media - July 30, 2024 at 07:39 PM
@Stefan Jovanovic are you talking about Advantage Shopping campaigns or just the Catalog A+ enhancement? I didn’t really think the latter would end up remarketing users more but if it does, I’ll definitely want to turn that off
#paid-media - July 30, 2024 at 12:29 AM
Anyone use Advantage+ creative for Catalogs? Does it help ROAS at all?
#paid-media - July 16, 2024 at 02:03 PM
Q4 is always an expensive time to advertise. The election will have some effect, but ecom ads will drive that more than political ones. Expect things to settle down at the end of December
#paid-media - July 16, 2024 at 02:01 PM
You can see some historical data here
#paid-media - June 28, 2024 at 05:48 PM
Foreplay had added some really useful new ad spy features
#paid-media - June 19, 2024 at 04:36 PM
@Nativ Yanko Would love an intro as well
#paid-media - June 07, 2024 at 02:34 PM
Ahh I thought that was CPM. My bad
#paid-media - June 07, 2024 at 01:24 PM
This also seems to include all campaign types, which is why categories like food and drink seem so cheap - a lot of people aren’t running conversion ads
#paid-media - June 03, 2024 at 03:24 PM
I'm assuming you're speaking about search ads. The copy should contain the keyword you're bidding on. It should also differentiate you from the other people in the auction.
Responsive search ads also give you a lot of copy variations to test, so you should take advantage of that.
And the copy has to be a lot shorter than it does on Meta.
So for all those reasons it's not a good idea to just copy from Meta verbatim, although you can reuse some copy elements.
#paid-media - May 30, 2024 at 11:32 AM
But I wouldn’t try like in-market audiences
#paid-media - May 30, 2024 at 11:31 AM
I agree with Zac. Although search retargeting campaigns can work well sometimes
#paid-media - May 22, 2024 at 04:47 AM
Yeah that was email is a giveaway but sometimes they do spoof FB email addresses. In case anyone isn’t aware, you can view emails sent by Meta in your security settings
#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 12:32 PM
If you don’t have any copy like that, I’d guess maybe it’s a false positive
#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 12:31 PM
Sorry, that wasn’t very clear. I meant that if you said something like that, it could trigger a rejection
#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 04:36 AM
But Google also has a lot of false positives and flags ads for no reason and you just need to appeal
#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 04:34 AM
Saying “struggle to lose weight?” or “struggle to get enough protein?” could trigger this
#general-chat - March 15, 2024 at 01:47 PM
@Steven Neman Did you ever end up trying out onlinecheckwriter?
#everything-marketing - February 28, 2024 at 03:39 PM
Does anyone know any billboard truck companies they'd recommend?
#everything-marketing - February 06, 2024 at 05:15 PM
You could implement
#general-chat - January 25, 2024 at 07:32 PM
I'll DM you
#everything-marketing - January 22, 2024 at 04:29 PM
Here's a UGC template to try for all the supplement brands out there
#general-chat - January 14, 2024 at 07:16 PM
Click the icon on the mobile app then the “…” button
#everything-marketing - January 09, 2024 at 09:04 PM
Yeah, you should probably try it. There generally aren't as many "bad customers" as people think there will be and most of the time, the increase in conversion rate is worth the few returns you will get.
#everything-marketing - January 08, 2024 at 01:51 PM
Ahh right. You could maybe still use that though if you keep it kinda vague. Something like "our last product drop sold out in x days so we wanted to give priority access to the Dallas community"
#everything-marketing - January 08, 2024 at 01:24 PM
@Valeriya K I like "Break Up With Bloating" the best but it would be good to test other variations.
I'd add "try" to the beginning of the subheadline to make it more action-oriented.
On the back side of the postcard, I'd try to follow the AIDA model (I know it's hard cause you do have limited space) and not lead with you talking about your brand.
Also, I'd definitely mention that the product already sold out 10x. You could mention that stock is limited but you're giving priority access to the Dallas community as well as giving them a special discount.
#cx-retention - December 29, 2023 at 05:24 PM
What he talks about in the ads all makes sense though. He clearly knows his stuff
#cx-retention - December 29, 2023 at 05:23 PM
Haha yeah Sabri’s ads are the best. Haven’t checked out the book yet though
#paid-media - December 23, 2023 at 12:08 AM
And I’ve heard good things about their courses as well
#paid-media - December 23, 2023 at 12:07 AM
Got it well
has a great blog you should check out#paid-media - December 22, 2023 at 11:40 PM
For a lot of brands, it makes sense to invest a good amount in UGC and if you don’t want to handle that yourself, you could find creative agencies that just handle that aspect and would charge a lot less than you’re paying your current agency
#paid-media - December 22, 2023 at 11:37 PM
is pretty good if you want still images or edits to videos you already have
#paid-media - December 22, 2023 at 11:36 PM
How to master FB ads is a big topic and I mean in 5 days you can’t expect to become an expert in any platform.
But as general advice I’d say that you should spend a good percentage of what you were spending with the agency (which seems like a lot) on new creative
#everything-marketing - December 21, 2023 at 10:42 PM
But YMMV and it's always good to test both campaign types
#everything-marketing - December 21, 2023 at 10:41 PM
Yeah even at that size, I can't scale them at the same ROAS as standard shopping
#everything-marketing - December 21, 2023 at 10:23 PM
@Peter Quadrel I just find that I can't scale them as much as standard shopping when excluding past purchasers
#everything-marketing - December 21, 2023 at 10:19 PM
PMax campaigns may show a good in-platform ROAS but they tend not to bring in new customers efficiently (even if you check the box to only target new customers). And if you run them, you'll likely see them cannibalize your retargeting campaigns.
Not to say you shouldn't test them at all, but don't trust Google's ROAS numbers.
If you do try PMax, I'd suggest setting it up without image or video assets so it runs like the old Smart Shopping campaigns. And also adding branded keyword exclusions.
