Anyone here run Meta ads for a supplement brand? I was curious what people are planning to do with the upcoming pixel restrictions

I'm not worried. None of the supplement brands I work with have been categorized as "health and wellness" in Events Manager yet.

Per a Meta rep: "most health supplement brands will not be affected, unless it is a prescription or for a specific disease, etc."

• Meta defines "health and wellness" as: associated with medical conditions, specific health statuses, or provider/patient relationships (for example, a patient portal or wellness tracker for depression). Source - so I wonder if these new restrictions are intended primarily to target health data regulations, not so much limit sales of consumer nutraceuticals / supplements.
Best you can do is wait and see if you get flagged / categorized in events manager. If so, submit an appeal.

@Jeremy Sniezko - We had two brands that we were told would be impacted. Then they retracted it a week later and said they were clear.

I would connect with your rep and have them validate where you will be classified.
