Yeah, we ship a total of a few hundred pounds at a time, each box is 30 lb. Pallets takes way longer to arrive and way more expensive

Yep.
IMO this will further lead DTC brands to abandon Amazon, creating a divide between low-quality and high-quality ecom. Amazon's robust infrastructure and established network effects will still grant them an advantage over low quality /cheap overseas pears. This shift is already happening, with Amazon prioritizing short-term gains (ad revenue, organic rankings) over long-term sustainability.
