Social Cat is specific to finding and seeding for UGC content and really small influencers. SocialSnowball is more for management, but they can also help you find influencers. SS is definitely the more sophisticated solution for the same price

Definitely! I use SS and love it. I thought he meant like influencer content seeding. But for management, def SS. And they have a new feature that helps you find influencers amongst your followers

Hey everyone! I've been hosting DTC/Ecomm events and I'm starting to put together gift bags for them.
I'd love to include brands from this group, especially those that have travel/sample packs available that guests can either consume or use easily. Past bags have included snacks, drink mixes, etc. I'm also wanting to start including a postcard that has brand offers on it for a first-time purchase. I currently pay for it, but I’m not really paying to use the content. Just the database which is more than worth it on its own. I will sit in on the calls sometimes we have with journalists and those can be useful as well. I feel like those only go so far, though.
If you just want masterclasses and courses, there’s another one that’s way cheaper called Press For Success. I actually like her more than Gloria. She does weekly zoom calls so you can ask questions, is super responsive, and often goes through pitches and reviews without paying insane amounts for it. It’s all included for like $20/month

Does anyone know of a way to get a TikTok handle that is taken but inactive? There’s no way to contact them and reverse image searching the profile pic didn’t pull anything up.
My business name is taken by some account that hasn’t posted in forever and only had like 4 posts to start with.

Yes! I give the customer a first time purchase offer and % to the affiliate.
I’m thinking about doing it in tiers, though. I currently offer 20% to all, but I’m gonna change it to be 15,20,25 based on sales/referrals.

@Cody Wittick I thought it was valuable to know the numbers! It definitely encouraged me to start product seeding.
- I've been very picky about influencers, so this was helpful for me to be a bit more open about who I send to.
- I still have some questions about engagement rate. 1% seems good for the massive influencers, but are there any guidelines for those who are using micro-influencers? 1% seems very low for someone with say, 10k followers. I'm sure it varies drastically based on the niche.
- It helped me to significantly reduce my email length to the influencer, which seems to have a higher response rate.
- I think it would be beneficial to dig deeper into how to capitalize more on this this from an organic marketing perspective. I think it's great for those who are doing ads to use the organic content they're getting. I've found that there's so much content around ads, so would be cool to have someone as knowledgeable as you talk about how to further utilize organic.
- I loved the ad comparison, I was not expecting the last ad to perform well. I think this is still super useful for organic, so it's something I want to try out on my Pinterest account.
- I definitely plan on re-visiting this when I incorporate ads into my marketing strategy! Overall, I found it really succinct and helpful. Thank you for taking the time to offer this info for free!

@Kuljit Rakhra thanks! I’ve actually been subbed to her offering for a while now, since I use some of her database tools, which are so good and save so much time! Would really recommend her stuff outside of the free masterclass.
I’ll check out HARO. I’ve been a bit skeptical about it, since I’m not trying to pitch myself, necessarily. But I tend to reach out to journalists individually if they fit my niche, especially around gift guide seasons.

You do need to have some kind of driver for it, I don’t think you can have a printer where you don’t need *some software. But it’s a one-time install and then you never touch it again. It took me like 5 minutes to do the entire setup when I first got it
