Looking for a Replo ninja to help us build a new PDP. We can provide the design, just need help with the execution. Need to try and get it done this week if possible. DM me if interested.

What’s the best intended chat group for marketplaces? I’ve got two US focused d2c brands also on Amazon and Walmart. One on Wayfair. My first brand was primarily Amazon and it’s still the major channel. But in my Amazon groups I think we’re all really, finally talking about a flight away. Not the 2022 bullshit about avoiding Amazon for new fees and Chinese sellers, but that it’s actually starting to pass peak for all categories (wholesale, resale, small brand) that aren’t comfortable lying to consumers with fake reviews and other grey or black hat tactics that have always been on Amazon. Just imo - We got some subtle wins during the broad FTC vs Amazon legal battle, but recently Amazon seems to have been quietly tightening up on all of the things you need to do to from actively updating (and fucking us) on how much they think they should pay you per lost SKU in FBA to just straight lying / stone walling on shipments they claim to have made but never delivered. I just lost 21% on the landed cost of inventory for one SKU on an Amazon initiated FBA warehouse transfer that disappeared. It had an “Amazon best seller badge”, it crushed on Walmart even after paying mcf fees, and FBA lost hundreds of units. We spent three months trying to get reimbursed after initially noticing the lost inventory in July. They told us it was routine, and then we had to fight them because they claimed we hadn’t filed our lost inventory claim fast enough (we filed within 1-2 weeks of the change being noticed). We had set the reimbursement cost when they made the policy change in the last year or so, but they never notified us that they later challenged the cost. Walmart ads have completely broken since spring 2024. Wayfair search went from keyword related results (we had one product on two total pages of organic search results going to 200+ pages of non related items - there were max one page of new actual products in the category).
Open to chat with any brand owners but please don’t message me if you’re trying to sell me anything.
Whoever you are, if you care about the business you serve, please go check your shipment and return settings in FBA. We’re getting shit that should have been destroyed and paying for shipment. We’re getting customers that claim new Amazon products have literally been shit on, and Amazon’s grade and recovery resolve as new.

Are people seeing b2b inbounds that want to use QuickBooks instead of Shopify for payment processing? Feels very scammy

For sweepstakes meta ads, what are folks using for campaign structure?

If you sell on Amazon, you can submit your product for them to make your product FSA/HSA eligible through the normal channels. It’s free and a game changer.

We use truemed, it takes 8%, it works well for people on the fence, but losing that extra 8% sucks. If your product(s) are FSA/HSA, eligible then you don’t need Truemed. Ultimately the FSA/hsa expense reconciliation is on the consumer. All that truemed does is issue a doctors note for customers that (a) don’t need one (pre approved product category) or (b) can’t get a doctors note from their primary physician.

Don’t use an agency. From the description, you’re going to get crushed on Amazon. Hire someone dedicated or give up. I know a creatine gummy guy I could send you info for if interested, but please don’t waste your money on an agency. They’re almost all bad, but especially in the Amazon space.

Just a random drop to help those in search: don’t use AP Express (near LA). Found them through a connection and they were the worst. We ship some weird things but they missed their SLA in month one. I thought we fixed it and got to a good rhythm this year, and then they tried to double our monthly fees outside of our contract. Granterion was awesome but I think they’re about to close. 1Click is our new 3PL that has some Granterion folks. Have only been there 2 months but so far so good (as far as anything in logistics can be).

Levanta sucks a big, fat dick. Not worth the cost.

My advice would be to start with a VA you find on upwork. I’ve had some good ones that I transitioned to EOR and some bad ones. But I feel like the cost of search using upwork to find the right talent is much better than any of the VA agencies.
