I run an email marketing agency
and we had the same issue.Some advice:
• Try to promote internally because they know the business already
• If no candidate internally, try to hire senior media buyers from other agencies because they know the ins and outs of the operation
• Pay above market rate. You want to attract the best candidate to deliver the best service, so don't worry about cost; if you hire the best, your client will be happy, then it will attract more clients.

First use a viral giveaway tool like viral sweep/ upviral or gleam
Setup your giveaway engine.
then build campaign around that:
• email campaigns - try and get them to promote to their email list.
◦ if you have landing page and assets ready, you've already done the hard work for them and they can just plug and plan and use your assets

As a CRO Expert, I found Wishlist impacts Conversion Rate negatively. Try no wishlist for a while and see how it performs. Its a nice to have but not good to have feature. Also check your wish list to purchase rate, more often than not, it is low

Here's the thing:
• Klaviyo is not perfect but it is the best in the market at the moment for DTC brands on Shopify
• Yotpo is doing a lot of activation to take brands on their new email service. I went to their event in Melbourne and like the UX/UI, honestly it feels more 2024 than Klaviyo. However the few brands that I saw moving to Yotpo, deliverability is an issue.
So I wouldn't move away from Klaviyo for now.

Never ever remove pop up.
You will still get new traffic and your goal is always retention.
I speak to so many brands that overthink about this but it is simple.
Even if your conversion rate double during BFCM, 90%+ visitors sits on the sideline which you need to nurture and convert.
You can have a BFCM theme pop up but don't turn off

What you can do, is run a preview.
Often as marketers, we tend to overthink thing and jammed pack an email which looks beautiful btw but this is information overload from my view, close to no one will keep scrolling this much.

yes, how-tos are brilliant for post purchase to ensure that they have a good experience after placing their order and eager to try your product and leave good reviews.
Incorporate text with images, is a good way to optimize deliverability.
With regards to length, if your email message is 102 kB or larger, Gmail “clips” your email.
A good solution to that is "creating a how to blog" on your website and then send a short email linking to that blog.
This is a good for a few reasons:
- keep the email short and snappy
- this blog can attract organic traffic
- add interactive content like video
- while the users come to read about the how-to, they might consider buying another product because they are on your website
