<@U081Z0JQ718> did Amazon ever explain how this happened? So curious, it's the first time im hearing of something like that that wasn't seller-initiated
#amazon - July 16, 2025 at 03:05 AM
Mind if I ask how you're checking? Depending on the view used, the pooled inventory looks like it is showing for CA, but really it is stock in the US.
You should be able to check
in the FBA Inventory dashboard (in Canada) and confirm. If there is no inventory listed, whatever you're looking at is not CA inventory. I've made this mistake many times.#amazon - July 16, 2025 at 03:02 AM
That's a question beyond the scope of Amazon - but once you have that nailed down getting on Amazon DE (Germany) is much the same process as US.
You can check out this page here -- >
Biggest thing is getting the TAX IDs correct.

If you're seeing inventory in Canada but didn't ship it yourself, you're probably seeing the US inventory. Amazon is likely treating it as a shared North American pool of inventory, vs Canada inventory + US inventory specific inventories.
#amazon - July 15, 2025 at 02:44 PM
Global selling on Amazon used to be opt-in - now it's more opt-out. There are a number of steps along the way where they will get you to cross list your items into Canada.
What is probably happening is that your US skus have a cross-country offer enabled. This will create the listing automatically in that country. If you have the global fulfillment settings turned on (which sounds like you did), Amazon can cross list your US inventory and/or purchase as a vendor and re-sell in Canada.

And once you've expanded into one EU country, rinse and repeat for the other countries. Logistically it's the same. Be mindful of time cost vs return, make sure business reqs are set, different strategies per marketplace, etc.
#amazon - July 15, 2025 at 02:39 PM
We've expanded to EU from US many times. Logistically, selling on Amazon is very much the same.
What's more tricky is the business registry and tax process - but if you're confident on those expanding to Amazon dE shouldn't be a problem.
In our experience, sometimes it can be double the work without double the result. Factoring in your return on time is important when expanding, but if you've got a great grip on it it can prove very useful. Additionally, your keyword and marketing strategy will be different from the US.

We've been seeing really different results across brands. We have a beauty brand that's up about 8x and crushing. Lowest for us is about 2x.
How about you @Gurdeep Sahota?

<@U07U1BG6ERG> might be able to give you a quick hand!

Hey Chris, happy to take a look. We deal with this all the time. Shooting you a DM.
#amazon - April 25, 2025 at 03:51 AM
Even recently, a straight up 'disposal' has been removed as an option in some of our agency accounts. You can still force it with flat files however, but it's hidden pretty deep.
#amazon - April 25, 2025 at 03:51 AM
They're constantly updating their systems to benefit them, when disposing you have to make sure you're not sending it to liquidations, which they will often auto set.
#amazon - April 25, 2025 at 03:50 AM
If you're disposing returns automatically, try returnlesss refunds. It's not advertised to the customer until they attempt to return.
It's a nice surprise and delight, and it saves you on return shipping costs.
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 03:59 AM
Is this your own product? Weird I know a few hangover supp brands and they can sell on Amazon no problem.
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Sometimes I've seen Amazon been more strict the newer an account is without any history, especially recently.
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 12:50 AM
If it's a supplement and you're not able to get approved in the category you want, sometimes you can get approved in other categories to skirt the cold start. Then, come back and get approved in the one you actually need.
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 12:49 AM
What type of product are you trying to sell ?
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 12:48 AM
Yes! Tip: Automate this via a chrome extension from Helium10 or Junglescout, or use set this up automatically in their respective portals to automate completely.
#amazon - April 22, 2025 at 12:47 AM
yes! Amazon loves and encourages that. make sure you have the brand referral bonus turned on so you get 10% back on every attributed sale.
#amazon - March 27, 2025 at 03:52 AM
good luck!
#amazon - March 27, 2025 at 03:40 AM
Hm, maybe someone else here can offer additional insight, but there is something that's not being ticked by Amazon.
My guess is it might be something with sales history, or inventory stock. Could be a dynamic metric too, so a bit hard to tell.
Not much you can do here aside from try to sell more, keep reviews high and returns low. You can still participate in the event if you decide to use a price discount instead of a deal.
#amazon - March 26, 2025 at 10:43 PM
@Sindhu Narasimhan here is the most recent eligibility criteria for both Price Discounts and Deals!
I'm assuming when you say Prime Day, you're referring to Deal eligibility, but you can still participate through Prime Exclusive Discounts (now rolled up under Price Discounts).
Deals are becoming more expensive and more restrictive across the board. It might have to do with sales history.

That's a good point. Double check your accounts settings > business info page.
If still nothing, might be worth a call to Amazon Account Health Support team to confirm.
I have experienced situations where this message has been present and no action needed to be taken, but it's not common.
#amazon - March 24, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Hm, head scratcher for sure!
#amazon - March 24, 2025 at 09:48 PM
There should be a reason, just need to find it. Any recent notice in performance notifications ?
#amazon - March 24, 2025 at 09:46 PM
Hey Jesse! Any chance you're operating a new account, or need to verify some identity or account info?
#announcements - March 17, 2025 at 01:21 AM
Hey Nik! Love the pod thanks for all your time and energy into this. Interested to hear your observations around how brands are using live shopping, especially inside of TikTok. How they feel about it, if they’re seeing success, if they even talk about it, etc.
If you have any best practices around setting up and executing TikTok lives, would love to hear that too. Thanks again!

On the whole though, Amazon is typically pushing sellers to FBA instead of vendor. You may also wish to just focus on that platform.
For all of years of operating, we've only recommended vendor to a small handful of brands. Most of the time seller central makes the most sense.
#amazon - March 16, 2025 at 11:03 PM
While it may seem a bit overwhelming that there are a lot of ways to answer your question, you can also take the perspective that this allows you to choose a solution that best fits your business. Just means you can be adaptable depending on your needs 🙂
#amazon - March 16, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Great questions! Congrats on expanding to the US 🥳
To best operate a hybrid model, you'll want to assign each item to a platform.
- No. You will not want to assign the same item under both platforms. Amazon will always give preference for their items and will almost always win the by box.
- Ads are tied to the selling account. Since you are operating two selling (Vendor + Seller Central) you will need to operate two advertising accounts. These will will not work in tandem and will act as two separate sellers in Amazon's eyes. To best avoid ad competition against, you'll want to address this in your assortment / portfolio strategy. Maybe offer similar types of products in each platform so the keywords don't compete. Or, you can offer your hero items in Vendor and sell your slower moving inventory through Seller Central with little or no ad spend.

hi @Luri, always happy to chat strategies if you need an ear !
#tiktok - February 25, 2025 at 07:35 PM
Longer term goal for sure is FBT, but for this particular scenario there are a few constraints.
FBT is enrolled, but not activated. Currently waitlisted.
The situation isn't whether MCF is the best option, but how best to utilize Amazon MCF w/ TTS.
#amazon - February 23, 2025 at 03:28 AM
Happy to take a deeper look if you'd like.
#amazon - February 23, 2025 at 02:55 AM
<@U07S3KEKKB2> how has this been coming along ?
#tiktok - February 23, 2025 at 02:52 AM
Does any have a preferred Amazon MCF integration for TTS orders ?
Leaning towards starting with WebBee for no reason after than it seems the simplest. Just curious to hear others experiences!
#amazon - February 20, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Unfortunately yes, and oh so much more 😂
Happy to take a look if you'd like
But here are some common routes for troubleshooting
• Verify listing content doesn't contain any trigger words like 'battery'
• Reformat documentation with cover letters and annotations indicating item is not DG
• Completely gut the listing content, wait 24-48 hours, then rework documentation
If the ASIN is new and hasn't been used yet, sometimes ditching that and creating a new ASIN from scratch can work.
If everything is clear, accurate and you really don't have any options, then treat this as a numbers game. Sometimes talking to the right person can help.

Amazon is being sneaky sneaky again
Is anyone else's Vine orders showing up as revenue now ?
Unless I'm missing something completely obvious
Didn't used to be that way
Not sure when it changed
#amazon - January 17, 2025 at 06:38 PM
Parents no, children yes.
If the parent ASIN matches the child ASIN (i.e. no variations) you will be fine.
If the parent ASIN is separate from the child ASIN (i.e has variations) the parent ASIN will be discarded. In this case, you would break apart the parent, wait for the children to be standalone, then variate into the new parent.
In our experience, benefits from rank & reviews typically far outweigh the other negatives. Given improvements in brand stores and ad placements you might still be able to feature multiple ASINs at the same time.
Setting up your ad structure based on children ASIN allows for this flexibility as well.

hi @Emma Butler!
If using FBM, you'll want to make sure you can adhere to the performance standards Amazon sets. They can be very strict, so give yourself enough time to pick, pack & ship.
If you're asking about performance, faster is always better. However if this is the case I'd recommend looking at using FBA. You can send a really small number of units (like 10 units) to test it out. It seems intimidating but it's fairly easy once you get the hang of it.
Feel free DM or ask more questions here. Happy to help!

That’s great. Used for it sentiment analysis but not negative review removal. 👍
#amazon - January 06, 2025 at 03:47 AM
Is anyone using ChatGPT (or sub your favorite AI tool) for anything meaningful specific to Amazon? Trying to figure out narrow case uses for it to improve internal operations on Amazon
#amazon - January 06, 2025 at 03:46 AM
Glad it’s been helpful!
Yep, but offer a discount to incentive the purchase. You will still pay two fulfillment fees, but you’ll be getting more seo benefit, which is the ultimate game on Amazon (for now).
Not for everyone, but it’s an option nonetheless

<@U085VCXU3C4> we've got a connect if you need accounting specific to Amazon. Works directly w/ a lot of aggregators too

Depending on your product, here are a few other ideas for you to consider until the programs are available to you:
• optimize for bulk purchasing aka higher one-time purchases
• run consistent promos on a predictable cadence - repeat customers might utilize this as an alternative
• send promo codes to customers for discount off next purchase
• offer subscriber like promos via your storefront and use your branded searches to drive traffic to those promos
until you've access to these programs, probably the easiest is to just to leverage your brand repeat shoppers to fuel your organic ranking and focus on new customers
and run promos on a cadence

Brand Tailored promotions haven't launched yet, but that could be a good workaround once released if you're still facing issues.

We operate in AU and have access to SnS vis Seller Central, might wanna double check!
Most of our products are one time products so we don't have anything enrolled, but the dashboard is present and it looks like we have the option to enroll items. The help policy for SnS inAU is active with working links.

Does anyone have experience transitioning a tiktok shop US account, or know if this is even possible ?
We're working with a non-US client who was just acquired by a major conglomerate.
The current entity on the account will for sure need to be switched as it currently sits under their distributor entity.
#amazon - December 13, 2024 at 09:35 PM
I'm not sure there is way. Amazon seems to be rolling it out to random accounts, with rull release sometime in 2025.
Maybe an account manager or ads manager can get it for you.
#amazon - December 12, 2024 at 09:09 PM
Gotcha - thanks so much for the insight!! 🏆
If you have any preferred platforms you trust, please let us know. I think everyone would love to find a good group to work with 😂
We've good success with creators with whom we've built personal relationships but not a mass platform yet
