A well connected agency like social commerce club can be helpful particularly in terms of acceleration of getting the shop and products approved quickly because they will have a direct contact to the TTS team, where getting support directly is quite challenging unless you're coming in with 6 figures in spend within a few months. Also agencies are pretty much all following a similar blue print for product seeding, affiliate and sparkads to push what's winning. This can be set up in house but does require a good amount of time to manage the relationships. Agencies will often already have some of these relationships to just help you get momentum a bit faster which is important if you don't have a strong brand name already. However... Margins are really tight on TTS between discounts, free shipping, 4 to 6% marketplace fees, affiliate commissions and ad spend, which makes it challenging to squeeze in any additional retainer costs from my personal experience scaling a shop to silver star status and hundreds of daily orders.

I have experience with both of these for Geologie. Both worked well for driving awareness. Depending on the budgets and goals you might want to lean more into one or the other. If more DTC focus and you have a good Google ads budget already demandgen works really well. If omnichannel focused and you have Amazon or retail presence then CTV might be better option. YouTube SEO can be quite similar to Amazon, where it requires a mix of keyword and technical best practices, strong engagement and momentum but also don't forget to consider external traffic drives. Content strategy and all associated assets is there specialty. If you're just getting started, try to focus on just 1 or 2 hero skus, lower price point. It's much better to put 90% of your efforts into growing that momentum before focusing on wider merchandising strategies from my experience as it can take 50 to 100 pieces of content to really find winners that will drive momentum

It really depends on what you're running. Is it all prospecting? A mix of remarketing? How much are you giving weight to the channels that are driving new visitors into the funnel that also contribute to Meta attributed sales? In general I have found that Meta attribution will give like a 10x weight on last click but have found it to be closer to 2 to 3x but have seen it range significantly when looking at a variety of MTA and MMM data.

I found that TikTok One (previously Creative Challenge) also worked quite well for scaling TikTok shop. Great way to compliment the affiliate side of things and find scalable pieces of content

I hated BV and moved to Power Reviews for syndication to Target. Was maybe 10% cheaper but they were easier to work with and did multiple syndication periods throughout the year
