Yeah I've seen both of these, they ran at breakeven when they started. I wonder what their supply chain timeline was like.

Any thoughts on this business model? Apparel focused.

Really low entry price points, so far at breakeven BUT very sensitive to movements as price point is very low.

This runs at breakeven but the downside is that apparel is complicated in terms of skus (cash inefficiencies).

I then plan to upsell them to another more expensive shirt to hopefully make it a bit more profitable on the front end.

Is this a good business model to expand on or not really? What say you?

Do you test the new angles in new ad sets? Or the winning ad set? I turned off all the ad sets with angles that performed worse than the winning angle.

Hello, just started advertising my first brand on Meta, pet space.

On the second day, we had fantastic results. 15% conversion, 10 purchases, 5% CTR, and 4.5 ROAS despite high CPMS. The campaign ended because I stupidly set the end date incorrectly.

When I restarted the ads, the performance tanked across the board, lower CPMS but far lower CTR% and 0% conversion for two days straight now.

I'm only spending 50-60 dollars a day. Should I just let this run? New to the Meta game.

Any thoughts here?

Are CPMs really that high? $80 seems crazy but I have no idea.

For conversion, I didn't quite understand. I feel like 5% conversion is solid out the gate. In theory should improve if targeting does?

Breakeven ROAS 1.4ish

In the pet space, what do you all typically see with LTV for dog chew type products and how aggressive do you then get with ads?

I have a dogs chew product that I started on Meta ads with. I've spent $200 on CBO with very simple ad creatives focusing on different angles to see which one wins.

Here are the metrics so far.
CPM = $80, this seems super high?
CTR = 4%, not sure what to glena from this
CPC = $2.50
ATC = 15%
Conversion = 5%ish
ROAS = .7

Some of the metrics seem good but CPM and CTR are terrible (I think?)

Very limited spend so far.

Any suggestions on next steps? My thoughts are to improve creative to hopefully improve CPC?

This is also a potential for monthly subscription but not quite sure how much to add there in terms of LTV.

I have a golf apparel brand that did well on Amazon and then tanked. We have about 15k email audience (though needs to be cleaned) and 10k Facebook group, though lots inactive. There are some people that absolutely love the brand.

I'm trying to relaunch via other routes (Meta and lead generation). I need someone who can help generate self liquidating offers in the golf space and am playing to do a few pre-orders on styles to have no risk on inventory and enough to test out new concepts.

I'd like to hire someone who is scrappy and good at lead gen.

Hello! I'm new to Facebook ads and am learning how to run them on my own. It's quite a lot! For those who ran ads themselves at the start what was your progression like? When did you start building a team to help you? There is a lot with shopify, landing page, ads, and creative. Specifically, what did you do in terms of content creation? This is not my expertise and it's obviously necessary for successful ads. Did some of you run this yourselves or did you outsource and what lessons did you learn?

Thanks for your responses! We are new to ads. Black Friday solid CPA (above breakeven) at maybe $500 spend. Over the weekend it was decent as well. Then today we bumped up budget to $1200-$1300 and got absolutely destroyed. 40% reduction in conversion and 50% increase in cost per click. Is that just variability of Facebook ads and premature ads?

We are sort of new to running Meta ads. We've run ads off and on in our account for the past 4-5 months, spent maybe 15k give or take. We started ads Wednesday of last week. Ad performance was pretty solid on Black Friday. We spent about $500 on one campaign. Then today we bumped that up to $1,000. And performance was terrible. CPC was up by 50% (lower CTR%) and conversion dropped by 40%.
Is this type of variability normal? What does this tell me? Is it too early to make judgments?

Hi Dario do you have a production manager/team in place? There are also different stages of QA checks. If the output is bad at the end, you've already taken a significant hit anyways. But maybe you know all this!

SGA is the most well known company for QA inspections. You can supplement some of what they do with your own setup. For example, their wash tests are quite expensive so it can definitely make sense to have a Chinese assistant out there running a bunch of wash cycles on their own. It depends on size of production if that's worthwhile.

For those of you who create your own landing pages, what are best practices in terms of tools to use and things to think about when you hire someone to assist? I was thinking about learning myself but opted against.
We want to create processes and templates that allow for easy testing of different "set ups". We sell apparel so the biggest thing would just be switching out styles (polo, sweaters, etc).
Questions off the top of my head:
Software: Pagefly was what I've been looking at
Hiring someone to set up some templates: What is an appropriate spend on a decent landing page, that is easily modified and duplicated? Is this the job of one person or do you need someone on the software and someone who can think through the layout?
We aren't trying to create the perfect landing page, just minimum viable, which would be a big step up from what we currently have.

We want to add social proof onto the collection in a "clean" manner. Any example of this or thoughts on how to execute? Same thing for our PDP page. We want more social proof and example product videos. Our current theme doesn't really accommodate this.
