Hey y'all I tried to create a new separate ASC+ and performs has been super shaky.

If I duplicated (or using postid) on Ads I lost all of my engagement on my instagram ads but kept the engagement on my facebook ads.

1.) Is there any way to avoid this?

2.) Is my older "manual campaign" effectively already an ASC+ campaign if I have Adv+ Audience/Budget/Placements on?

If yes, should I consolidate the ad sets in my older "manual campaign" into a single ad set?

#paid-media - April 15, 2025 at 10:12 PM

Cool - how would you divide the budget between the two until thr ASC is steady?

#paid-media - April 15, 2025 at 10:01 PM

Thanks - and yeah I figured this wouldn't do a ton to move the needle but also wanted to make sure it wouldn't blow up my account

#paid-media - April 15, 2025 at 09:06 PM

Finally had my first call with a meta rep - their only real suggestion was to shut off my current campaign, launch a new campaign (ASC+), copy over my best performing ads into a single ad set to avoid auction overlap in my current manual campaign.

This would be about 10 ads or so.

We have any thoughts on this approach? Not happy with my current performance.

#logistics-operations - April 15, 2025 at 12:50 PM

Thanks for the guidance, at what stage should I reconsider and hunt for better rates?

#logistics-operations - April 15, 2025 at 12:49 PM

about 300 packages per month give or take

#logistics-operations - April 15, 2025 at 02:02 AM

Does anyone have any experience with Veeqo? I am currently using pirateship but am hoping to improve my shipping rates.

I typically ship UPS ground saver or USPS ground advantage. Whatever is cheapest!

#amazon - April 04, 2025 at 11:26 AM

Do you y'all know if Amazon compares your Amazon listed price to the subscription pricing on a D2C website or just the regular one time purchase price?

#everything-marketing - March 13, 2025 at 11:41 AM

Im cheap as fuck so may not be right for you3. If your product size is small, I would buy a light box on Amazon and do it yourself.

#paid-media - March 08, 2025 at 06:45 PM

@Theo van Wyk and @Kent Wilson will let you know how it goes!

How long would you expect for it to start spending?

#paid-media - March 03, 2025 at 12:28 PM

Update: I turned off a bunch of ads that had spent very little since march. The account spent 70% of the budget yesterday. So better.

@Laila Zouaki for the top of funnel creative, are you running a separate campaign for it? Or is it getting spend within the cost caps?

Also shoutout H-Town!

#paid-media - March 02, 2025 at 05:06 PM

@Kent Wilson and @Theo van Wyk if you were me right now would duplication be the next thing you try?

#paid-media - March 02, 2025 at 04:58 PM

@Kent Wilson when you have duplicated campaigns does that port over the same post ids/engagement? I haven't tried that yet but I could try to duplicate my campaign

#paid-media - March 02, 2025 at 04:41 PM

@Kent Wilson that is why I reached out because I know Facebook loves spending my money! Something definitely broke with my account in February, and I can't figure out what the issue is.

It is strange because I didn't make any changes that I'm aware of other than creating new ad sets with new creatives.

#paid-media - March 02, 2025 at 04:36 PM

@Theo van Wyk thank you!
• Adv+ full broad but I exclude 30 Day Purchases
• Landing Page Rate: Yesterday was 75%, prior was 95%
• Microsoft Clarity: will give this a shot!
• Lowest Cost: Spent less than 20% of budget yesterday, looks bad today too.
• Pixel Health: No reported issues.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 06:29 PM

Thanks for helping me try to work through this! Seriously, it is a huge help

When you are looking at that frequency of >7...is that over a month? Or what time frame? Because my top ads are way below though and account for more than 90% of spend.

Which is why this whole thing has me puzzled, it is almost like something just broke in the system and stopped wanting to spend overnight.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 04:55 PM

Thanks for the thoughts, definitely looking into this.

Quick question, what time frames do you evaluate frequencies on for a specific ador campaign? Example: Monthly frequency of X is good. Or Annual frequency of Y is good.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 04:40 PM

Best creatives have been in market since Summer 2024. I try to add 5-10 pieces of creative per month.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 04:32 PM

I think it is a good mix of different creatives.

Videos + statics (product photos, lifestyle shots).

Running CBO.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 01:58 PM

And also low engagement/new followers starting in Feb.

#paid-media - March 01, 2025 at 01:47 PM

Hey Y'all -

Wanted to get your opinion on whether something is wrong with my account or something else. I am a protein bar brand (superteamfoods.com) so this time of year is very strong for us. We are a small brand spending less than $8k / month so I don't think this is a case of bumping up against market size.

January 2025: Bid Caps, record spend, great results.

February 2025: Bid Caps, first half of the month spend dropped by 66% and even after raising my bid cap by 40% vs. January, spend was only 50% for the month. Seemed to be retargeting more than acquiring new customers.

March 2025: Starting on 2/28 I switched to Highest Volume from bidcap and Meta only spent about half the budget. This morning it has started out incredibly slow. The traffic has been dogshit too, low add to cart rate/not signing up for our email newsletter.

Has anyone else experienced performance changing on a dime like this?

#paid-media - February 25, 2025 at 07:47 PM

I use bid caps and all of Feb. has been super low spend. Don't know exactly what is causing it.

#paid-media - November 28, 2024 at 01:06 AM

Is anyone else having a kind of slow BFCM?

#paid-media - July 20, 2024 at 11:09 AM

@Jesse Tilner and @Fergal Dinan what is the rationale for 5x target CPA?

And any thoughts on cost vs. bid caps?

#tech-talk - July 11, 2024 at 02:13 AM

Who did you end up going with?

#tech-talk - July 10, 2024 at 09:34 PM

Has anyone been having issues since google domains transitioned to squarespace?

1.) I just found out today because some customers let me know that some Wi-Fi networks are now marking my website as unsecure and potentially containing malware.

2.) My shopify lost its email domain verification and started sending confirmation emails from the generic store+randomcharacters@shopifyemail.com|store+randomcharacters@shopifyemail.com.

I'm wondering if there might be more hidden problems that haven't come to the surface just yet...

#tech-talk - July 10, 2024 at 09:30 PM

@Mitch Brown - I agree with @Jeremy Watson, seal is great but the cancellation recovery is just a bunch of text under their marked cancellation reason.

But the pricing is so much better, and I think it is insane anyone is willing to pay a % of revenue.

#paid-media - June 21, 2024 at 05:05 PM

They were winners from separate dynamic creative testing. I just didn't consolidate them. Would you go ahead and do this...and any idea if I likely to lose social proof?

#paid-media - June 21, 2024 at 01:43 PM

How do we generally feel about these meta suggestions like these?

I use a single CBO campaign with a number of ads/ad sets and it is recommending I consolidate 2 ad sets with 1 ad each into a 1 ad set and then add more text options to one of those ads. Note, I am worried about losing social proof (likes/comments etc.) by adding text options or consolidating.

#tech-talk - June 12, 2024 at 10:12 PM

Does anyone have any opinions on relying on Klaviyo's predictive days till next order for use in a replenishment flow vs. using a static number (30/60/90 etc.)?

#everything-marketing - June 07, 2024 at 03:11 AM

Sorry I wasn't being clear, are you ok with influencers using their code but just rejecting commission? Or do you usually advocate total abolition of self-useage?

#everything-marketing - June 07, 2024 at 02:00 AM

Thanks for advice @Dan Staub - would you typically let them use their code if they wanted to order themselves? And just exclude commission or just total ban?

#paid-media - June 07, 2024 at 01:23 AM

I'm in Food & Drink...I'd be rich if that was my CPA.

#everything-marketing - June 07, 2024 at 01:17 AM

Hey Y'all - had one of my affiliates use their own code today on a purchase. Would you typically exclude commission on that order or am I being cheap?

Note: we pay a larger commission on 1st time orders than 2nd. So definitely a money loser on this order if I pay out.

#logistics-operations - May 23, 2024 at 05:25 PM

My product is a consumable so has frequent reorders so I usually just cover the cost regardless. US consumers are super entitled (including myself) so probably better to just eat it. But definitely depends on your business.

#everything-marketing - May 22, 2024 at 12:26 PM

Let me know if you find anything!

#everything-marketing - May 10, 2024 at 12:36 AM

Any opinions on GoAffPro?

#tech-talk - May 09, 2024 at 02:54 AM

Anyone have any thoughts on GoAffPro? I am working with a content creator that recommended it.

#everything-marketing - May 06, 2024 at 11:30 PM

Do they work well?

#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 11:24 AM

@Jeremy Sniezko thanks for the suggestion. Did you find those phrases somewhere on my site? Didn't even realize I had them up there if they are around.

#paid-media - May 02, 2024 at 12:51 AM

I am trying to run dynamic remarketing campaigns with google ads, but for some reason my products are being flagged for "personal hardship" - any idea what could be causing this? Unsure if it is on my product listings or something on my website.

I sell savory protein bars:

#tech-talk - April 02, 2024 at 12:39 PM

Hey Y'all -

I just noticed that I have started seeing transaction fees pop-up on my Shopify monthly billing statement.

The common theme on these fees appears to be

1.) Transactions were done by checking out using Facebook/Instagram Shops
2.) Via PayPal

Has anyone seen this before and is there a way to avoid this extra 2.0% fee per transaction?

#paid-media - March 18, 2024 at 10:26 PM

Know this thread is old, but I am a big fan of Seal Subscriptions. Way better pricing model than anything else I have seen out there.

#self-promotion - January 25, 2024 at 07:37 PM

@Shin Takeda not yet unfortunately - just the US for now. But Canada + Mexico will be some of the early expansion opportunities!

#self-promotion - January 25, 2024 at 05:32 PM

It is my bday today, so time for some shameless self-promotion! We make the tastiest protein bar in the world.

Savory, not sweet. Everything Bagel, Zesty BBQ, Spicy Herb.

#everything-marketing - January 19, 2024 at 01:04 AM

I think you should have subscriptions asap. For 99% of consumers your brand is outrageously low on the priority list and very not top of mind. The discount is worth the consistent revenue/reduced reacquisition cost.

Personally I use seal subscriptions because they are mad cheap.

#everything-marketing - January 15, 2024 at 10:50 PM

The posts have separate ids

#everything-marketing - January 14, 2024 at 07:54 PM

Started on Wed for us, CPMs spiked 40-60%

#everything-marketing - January 13, 2024 at 04:23 PM

Lame - thanks for the help.

#everything-marketing - January 13, 2024 at 04:22 PM

Thanks Mark - any way to fix?
