Has anyone dealt with an unauthorized reseller actually entering in to a 1P agreement with Amazon?

#amazon - March 25, 2025 at 05:01 PM

Sometimes you need to re-certify your business info even if you’ve been selling for a while, it could be that

#amazon - January 06, 2025 at 06:23 PM

Yes, I like Scale Insights

#amazon - December 12, 2024 at 07:00 PM

Has anyone tried running an affiliate discount code with these campaigns?

#amazon - December 12, 2024 at 06:55 PM

@Jeremy Ciolli What would you consider “a lot” of samples? Ran a campaign recently and sent out 20 samples, got a lot of video content/reviews but no sales. It was not connected to a tentpole event though.

There are new supplement requirements, they need to be submitted to third parties for testing:

#amazon - July 25, 2024 at 11:00 PM

Make sure you get all their historical ad data because you won’t have access to data more than a couple months old directly from Amazon.

#amazon - July 18, 2024 at 04:59 PM

I have seen spend on branded ads skyrocket when an influencer is driving a lot of traffic, so I will usually dial back assuming the traffic is finding your listing without it.

#amazon - July 18, 2024 at 04:56 PM

If you are a brand, you can upload videos under Catalog > Upload & Manage Videos. If you are a creator/influencer, you can upload using the link you posted. If they are paid for the post or earn commission, it must be disclosed.

#amazon - July 17, 2024 at 07:57 PM

10x sales for some brands, 4x for others. Helped a lot by sending emails/sms to customer lists.

#amazon - July 17, 2024 at 01:59 AM

Data is usually delayed up to 48 hours for Amazon attribution

#amazon - June 28, 2024 at 05:42 PM

Yes correct, we are basically using FBM as a back up when we go out of stock at FBA

#amazon - June 27, 2024 at 10:47 PM

@John Dyall Is it possible to use Marketplace Connect only for the FBM fulfillment and not for listing management? We have FBA listings already created, we would just create FBM-specific SKUs for the corresponding FBA ASINs and want Shopify to fulfill, without touching any of the listing content.

#amazon - June 24, 2024 at 05:42 PM

@Jason P What is best about it?

#amazon - June 21, 2024 at 09:07 PM

Have you addressed the issue with your factory? When I went through this, the factory had actually included some incorrect info on the SDS that Amazon had caught.

#amazon - June 21, 2024 at 08:50 PM

Have you submitted documents via the Manage dangerous goods dashboard?

#amazon - June 21, 2024 at 08:29 PM

Does the product have batteries?

#everything-marketing - June 17, 2024 at 06:56 PM

Has anyone used Novel for shoppable video content?

#amazon - June 07, 2024 at 06:24 PM

Has anyone used Helium10's email follow-up for review requests? Any feedback? Some tools seem to have better deliverability than others.

#amazon - June 05, 2024 at 10:58 PM

Got it - might just be a data refresh issue. Feel free to ping me tomorrow if today’s data is still looking strange.

#amazon - June 05, 2024 at 10:46 PM

Refresh it later today or tomorrow and you should see the budget has been spent.

#amazon - June 05, 2024 at 10:43 PM

Also it shouldn’t let you save a CPC larger than the budget but if it went through somehow that could also be an issue.

#amazon - June 05, 2024 at 10:42 PM

Ad reporting isn’t necessarily real time so the spend/clicks may not he showing in the dashboard yet

#amazon - May 24, 2024 at 06:36 PM

Fun new feature! They did reduce FBA fees slightly but yeah, this is how it is now

#amazon - May 16, 2024 at 11:08 PM

I think it can be done in a high quality way in 1-2 months easily if you don’t run into major hiccups (which can happen very unexpectedly with Amazon) and don’t have a very large number of listings to create.

#paid-media - May 15, 2024 at 12:30 AM

Down for me

#amazon - March 20, 2024 at 04:49 PM

@Conor I look at it mostly as help with issue mitigation. That is the main value I have found, and it has been worth it for that help.

#amazon - March 15, 2024 at 09:06 PM

@Doğu - Amazon Ads Verified Partner @Shin Takeda I can’t get any of these zoom links to work, can you post another one?

#amazon - March 15, 2024 at 08:40 PM

@Doğu - Amazon Ads Verified Partner @Gurdeep Sahota would love to hear more about category price and review targeting (and more!)

#amazon - March 13, 2024 at 07:13 PM

Ah, bummer

#amazon - March 13, 2024 at 07:04 PM

I just saw this, it says they are not yet charging the inbound placement fees?

#amazon - March 13, 2024 at 04:41 PM

No, just walmart so I can’t speak to Amazon. I was least impressed with their media buying, so I don’t know if it would be similar for Amazon (I know it also depends who is on the account)

#amazon - March 13, 2024 at 04:39 PM

I’ve worked with Vendo for walmart, was not a great experience

#amazon - March 11, 2024 at 06:16 PM

I generally go with 3-4 months of supply. Definitely has not been full usage.

#amazon - March 07, 2024 at 10:01 PM

Actually- if I’m understanding correctly that you haven’t scheduled the deal yet? If so, scheduled it and then change the price. You can always cancel a deal if you decide not to run it, but it may not be available if you wait.

#amazon - March 07, 2024 at 09:58 PM

In my experience, I actually mess with pricing all the time with LDs. I’ve never had them cancel a deal because of it. You may just need to update the deal price to have it run.

#amazon - March 06, 2024 at 06:12 PM

It looks like Amazon is lowering FBA fees a bit starting next month to offset some of these placement fees- do you think that will help significantly or will sellers overall still pay a lot more for FBA?

#amazon - March 05, 2024 at 05:40 PM

Thanks @Shin Takeda! So nice to talk to everyone.

#amazon - March 04, 2024 at 06:53 PM

@Fred McKinnon Sending you a DM!

#paid-media - February 29, 2024 at 07:04 PM

My 8 year old would love this!!

#amazon - February 27, 2024 at 07:29 PM

@Doğu - Amazon Ads Verified Partner in body copy I’ll usually write them all out- Vitamin A, Vitamin B etc. When i’m trying to save characters like title/images I’ll usually write them like you have in the first example. I think if there’s space it’s ideal to write them out to call them out more clearly, and there may be searches for a specific one

#paid-media - February 21, 2024 at 06:23 PM

You can say: “pants for men,” you can’t say: “pants for men like you”

#paid-media - February 21, 2024 at 06:20 PM

It doesn’t match the error but it might be the word “your” associated with “guys” - implying you know the person receiving the ad is male

#amazon - February 16, 2024 at 06:03 PM

It’s a tough one. First I ask them to look around, ask others who live with them etc. Sometimes that solves the issue. Usually I would refund, and keep a log of customers experiencing these issues to see if there is a pattern that looks like fraud. You can also ask them to file a police report instead if you feel it is really fraud, such as a very high value order. But generally, solving an honest customer’s situation is worth more than the potential fraud. You can also file a claim with the carrier.

#amazon - February 16, 2024 at 05:50 PM

Yeah it’s one of the frustrating things about FBM, but unfortunately Amazon only includes customer service for FBA, it’s one of the services provided for FBA fees.

#amazon - February 16, 2024 at 05:37 PM

For FBM you manage customer service and requests like refunds, replacements etc, not Amazon

#amazon - February 12, 2024 at 05:52 PM

Is it possible some positive reviews were deleted?

#amazon - February 07, 2024 at 05:59 PM

You can also turn on FBM (if you’re not already) when you get your inventory back in stock to start selling sooner while you wait for your FBA shipments to hit Amazon. So this is interesting - I’ve raised prices several times on items that were going out of stock, only to find that sales did not really slow down, showing that I could actually sell for higher prices than I originally thought. I have often kept the higher prices once the items came back in stock. So a good opportunity to do some price testing too.

@Doğu - Amazon Ads Verified Partner https://www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-terms-of-service/
Any attempt to manipulate the Search and Browse experience is prohibited. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:
Adding product identifiers (brand names, product names, ASINs, and so on), even if they are your own, to hidden keyword attributes.

I guess they are not specifically calling out generic keywords but I would interpret this as including those too. Once they added this language I stopped using the 2 step urls to be safe.

#amazon - January 24, 2024 at 01:18 AM

@Darryl Lim Amazon is cracking down on driving outside traffic with keywords embedded- it’s explicitly against their TOS now
