depends how they roll out with their affiliate program - if it's 80% of tiktok shop - then for sure

facebook reels will have the lion's share of social commerce

Always yes 😆 I've been a believer in Meta for years. They were the first ones to figure out ATT and seem to be increasingly leveraging AI. The TikTok issue is just icing on the cake.

FWIW Meta is up ~370% since I bought them after the pandemic dip. I wrote an update on it here if you're into investing.

@Ivan Bagaybagayan I was thinking about the ad revenue over the course of the year from the increased user base if TT goes dark like they say they are. I don't think Meta Shop will be a big deal until 2026. It's super early and they are barely testing anywhere, at least with proper attribution for creators + commission opportunity.

same to say with Google/YT shorts - which is where I watch most of my short form content
