can someone shed light on Prime day eligibility? One of my products is eligible and the other one is not (they are selling through at the same rate but the second product is newer). Is there anything I can do to move the eligibility needle (other than just sales numbers)? Also will this change after the product is in stock for longer than a month (currently it's only been in stock for 2 weeks)

Eligible product has 50 reviews and ineligible one currently has 33

@Sindhu Narasimhan here is the most recent eligibility criteria for both Price Discounts and Deals!

I'm assuming when you say Prime Day, you're referring to Deal eligibility, but you can still participate through Prime Exclusive Discounts (now rolled up under Price Discounts).

Deals are becoming more expensive and more restrictive across the board. It might have to do with sales history.

Thanks @Andrew Bonasso. I’m talking about prime day deal. Thanks for calling this out. From what I see in the deals section eligibility, both my products are ticking all the boxes in product eligibility but I see it appearing only for one.

Hm, maybe someone else here can offer additional insight, but there is something that's not being ticked by Amazon.

My guess is it might be something with sales history, or inventory stock. Could be a dynamic metric too, so a bit hard to tell.

Not much you can do here aside from try to sell more, keep reviews high and returns low. You can still participate in the event if you decide to use a price discount instead of a deal.
