Affiliate Press for Amazon Question:
As we prep for our Amazon launch, any tips for leveraging affiliate press? We’re on ShareASale/Skimlinks and get 1-2 articles monthly without pitching.
Would love to hear any tips or tricks for leveraging this for launch!
@Emma Butler that is great that you are getting 1-2 articles/mo w/o pitching. For Amazon-specific linking, you've got a couple of options:
1 - affiliate links, like what you mention above. If you really want to go after some serious content that will link directly to Amazon, consider using Levanta or Wayward. They will get paid the % you setup, but will use your attribution link, which gives you up to 10% back in a Brand Referral Bonus.
2 - if you just use the normal affiliate links, they can still link to Amazon w/ their affiliate link, but you won't get the Brand Referral Bonus because in order to get that, you MUST use the attribution link provided by Amazon, and they no longer allow that to be modified to include additional affiliate tracking.
