Question for DTC brand owners, how would you handle inquiries from other stores that want to stock your product, and then end up competing on Meta/Google with their own Ads that drive traffic to their site, and not yours.

We just experienced that exact issue with The Container Store. First off, we told them that they are no longer allowed to offer promotions on our products online.

For Google ads it’s more tricky but it made me think that we should try and contractually make sure that nobody competes with our online presence moving forward.

The main point is that we want them to excel at the offline offering, not compete with our keywords online. Hard balance to keep!
