Interested in feedback on ambassador programs vs influencer. Also, any recommended tools if we go the ambassador route?

I think of ambassador as a long term thing. They represent the brand, like a external brand manager. An influencer I could see more short term as a one time promo for a launch or hype builder.

also not sure on tools but any lead generation form would be good to test it ot

Social Snowball for ambassador (esp if you want to tap into content creators/monetized scale!) cc @Zohaib Rattu who's on here from their team šŸ™‚

An influencer can be an ambassador, but not all ambassadors are influencers. You can make customers become brand ambassadors, for example. That's actually where a lot of brands thrive with Social Snowball. Every transaction that occurs can turn into an affiliate (ambassador), and you can leverage email automations through tools like Klaviyo and Sendlane to enable ambassadors to create content with the products they just purchased and to earn cash/store credit for future purchases in exchange for selling to their friends/family/followers.

Here's a template of an affiliate structure from a band that works with us: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11Iw_R4Qps0XkFEp8jl1LSohTxMXEt-PlRPvH4kF-1mM/edit#gid=0

I’d go for both. Go for influencer ambassadors- best of both world.

Start by sending product out to creators, see who resonates with your brand, build a relationship then convert into an affiliate offer.
