How are you guys testing which landing pages work the best for your ads? I’m looking to understand whether it’s best to push traffic to PDPs, homepage, collection page, or custom landers.

Would you create multiple adsets for the same ads in Meta CBO campaign to simply see which converts the best (or has the best ATC rate etc)?

Depends on your products/business. We build landing pages for our clients where it makes sense to drive traffic to a specific product or bundle for them to buy.

PDPs and PLPs are ALWAYS going to be better than the homepage, you should never spend money sending traffic to your homepage.

It really depends on the type of traffic doesn’t it? Retargeting ads or repeat purchasers might want a different experience (even the homepage). And what works for one brand might not work for another.

In terms of testing, you can’t really test landing pages with an ad platform (if your goal is to get “an answer”) because it’s going to want to optimize for most spend (depending on what goals you set). A simple URL split test with a split testing app will allow you to do true testing if your goal is to learn what works best for each ad audience.

Please do! Evening for me here but I’ll pick this convo up in the morning.

Depends on the ad the experience should just be fully congruent.

If you have multiple skus being shown that would lean collection, single would be PDP etc.
