Has anyone seen good examples of brands making content-rich collection pages?
We have some collections getting organic traffic but not converting well. Since we have a limited number of SKUs, I’m trying to build up the page to offer something other than an endless scroll of products. My idea is to turn the collection page into more of a landing page with information, video, etc. to reduce the bounce rate and get people exploring the site.
For example,
has some content below their product grid. Anyone else?
Definitely challenging when using Shopify themes to code around the collections sometimes. But a pretty standard developer should be able to implement a "section" at the top of the collection you want to design using html/css - so definitely worth getting a UI/UX designer to do 1 collection page design, that goes above/below your products, then the dev can also duplicate that same process for other collections in the future, and just swap out text or images!
I love this view from a brand we came across:
But custom builds allow more freedom.

@Andrew Watson Yep, we have devs who can build templates as needed. I’m just looking for good examples for inspiration. And trying to find anyone doing well (esp in SEO) without a ton of SKUs.

They go for the us vs them banner style, and some info.

If I see any awesome ones at low SKU volumes will def share, remember going through this ourselves before haha
