Hi @Charles Tichenor IV
Sorry about tagging you, but I think this can be helpful to others as well.
Regarding your 3-2-2 method.
It's been a super helpful tool to do creative strategy, but nowdays I have found it really hard to get working ad IDs out of that? I have tried:
• Use existing post (I found the creative but without any copy or headlines)
• Preview + facebook comments (ID does not work)
• Ad level => facebook comments (ID does not work)
Would you then just launch that as a normal ad with winning elements ? Or...
What would you do in this situation? when you have a winning DCT ad that you would like to move to control.
Thanks in advance!

ad preview + facebook comments works for the top spender only these days unfortunately.
but it does work.

open the preview, then click the date on the post

and then the url will have the pfbid in it - copy that value and that is your post id

I tired those all but did not work, eventho I get that Ad id and apply it, that ad is broken.

with {{product.brand}} copy

share link?

ahh the dreaded {{product.brand}} bug - i have no fix there unfortunately.

You can find all of the posts in the page posts menu in ads manager - no longer posssible to see individual posts at the ad level.
It’s a terrible interface, however if you look at the ad launch date and scroll down to that section you will find each iteration.

it’s easy enough to log the ads as you make them
especially when you get away from launching a million ads, cuz that doesn’t really make any sense

Seems they are discontinuing DCT and adding a ‘Flexible’ format so I guess they intended to make getting the postID harder for us

They are not discontinuing DCT as far as I am aware, I was informed it was due to a security issue and only authenticated access is permitted going forward, you will see a prompt to authenticate again when viewed by page posts and that didn’t happen in the past.

@Stefan Jovanovic They are discontinuing its official my accounts are reflecting it. Shared a post have a look

Where’s the post @Rajesh Kumar ?

Actually - found it, thanks.
