hi all - are you hearing any news on iOS 26 privacy changes on attribution since Jan 6th?
The landing page view rate has been heavily impacted since Jan 6th
Hey @Aniruddha Mishra — quick heads up on something i have been noticing.
Between Jan 7–9, Meta experienced multiple outages:
• Jan 7: Major outage (~6–8 hours)
• Jan 8: Another wave impacting Ads Manager and Instagram
• Jan 9: A third spike in downtime
Post these incidents, we’re seeing widespread iOS tracking issues across multiple brands.
Typically, Meta tracks click → LPV at ~80–90% on iOS, but since the 9th we’ve seen this drop by 30–40% vs usual levels.
Because of this:
Events aren’t firing reliably Negative signals are also increasing on meta's side
What's the fix?
Here's what we can do to stabilise performance:
1. Check your ad placements. Remove anything that's giving you crazy high cost per LPV and not reaching your audience.
2. Test iOS vs Android separately. Split your ad sets by device for a few days. You'll quickly see which one is causing the problem.
3. Reduce spend on iOS devices temporarily. Just until Meta sorts this out.
Anyone else seeing this? @Andres Alla <@U09KB376KV3> @Jarrod Sanders <@U08GA578WCD> @Danika Charity @Radhika Rajpal @Najee Ellerbe <@U08HJQQH1HA> @Hans Radl @Miles Baker @Maria Trotta <@U07KT0ML78D> <@U07LF4NE5ME> <@U07ULUG4E57> <@U08J514346B> <@U0911HLNJ94> @Jay Bargayo @Kris Watts <@U099QNB1F0T> @Alex Schinasi @Katherine Jacobson <@U07H652D8K1> <@U07TQ43Q6AH> @Brad Baxter @Hugo Lewis
I'm using the meta CAPI and my cost per LPV has averaged $2.75 since the 7th versus like $0.40 before. What's interesting is CTR is fine, so it feels like more of an attribution issue. Not seeing much discrepancy between devices/platforms
