Hey, we run ads on cost caps all our cost cap campaigns spend a lot more in the last few days without a sale. we ussually ad new creatives every week to every campaign. we had good results in but in the last few days all these campaigns looked crazy. cacs of 210 euro and more

Cost Caps are going to be TERRIBLE for another few months
Happens every year
eventually you get away from using them as more than 10-20% of your budget

curious on why u think they'll be terrible for few months specifically?

they ONLY work when the supply and demand curve is capable of arbitrage
thats essentially october to Feb, and then a short run from late march to early jun
less people
on fewer devices
for shorter times
spending less money
Remember that Cost Caps use more data than they make
so they are a depreciating flywheel
they only work until they dont
and then you dig a deeper hole to climb out of
I was part of the Alpha, and wrote the playbook back in 2018-2019
At more then 20%(ish) of spend
it becomes far less incremental
and gets worse fast
and when it breaks
everything is fucked

interesting - generally heard/worked w assumption either go all in on cost cops or not ( if you're half in half out it just doesnt make sense to have)

yea... thats terrible advice

heres some info

also, don't listen to performance marketers when trying to grow a brand

will check out thanks -- been ok for us so far but always open to checking out

wow will watch it cc worked for us the last month so well so muhc better than Just testing. finally we were not burning a lot of money anymore. we are a new brand and trying to figure out how to grew on meta for a year now. We usually had a scaling campaing and testing and in our testing we tested different narratives etc. but usualyl they ran for a week and were so expensive. so 6 weeks ago we started with cc and it was so much better most of the same creatives and much higher roas etc. so now I am super confused again.

okay..
Love that you're winning
but yea
the CC burned your funnel
have you heard of 32 Ads?
the 1 Campaign method?
I'm slammed this week, going to the Meta Summit etc
but Happy to dive into the account with you gratis some time soon

would love to hear more about the 322. yesterday all looked a lot better again.
