Hello LS fam!
We're away to launch training apparel for my combat sports brand. I want to make the drops exclusive and limited.
Are there any playbooks on how to do this effectively, ideally starting from the pre-launching phase and building interest? We've been traditionally on Amazon FBA (leaning heavily into our website now), so we don't have that much customer data to email/chat with.
I know a few brands that are crushing it, but already seem to be at scale. I'd love to see how these brands initially started building hype and a targeted list

How are you doing with local word-of-mouth and the combat sports community? Thinking gyms, clubs, etc. And Twitter?
Getting started is mostly about experimenting and doubling down on what works…

I can't speak to the growth and marketing, but I would encourage you to ensure you have your fulfillment dialed in. The influx of orders, pre-sales, and spikiness is not something all can truly support. Happy to chat further!
