ICYMI, Shopify Tax has gotten even better with . Anyone use it? Would love feedback. What works? What doesn’t?
I don’t run a brand but based on the complaints that @Moiz Ali and @Nik Sharma had a on the pod a while back, this seems like a big deal!
Hey @Mike Crawford - I know this is quite delayed, but it’s something I’ve been wrestling through for the past couple of weeks.
Perhaps we were misunderstanding the California taxes prior to this coming out, but the output from the tax reporting has 200+ lines for California alone that have to somehow be translated into the CDTFA form.
It feels like the feature could be SO close to just generating an output that can be pasted into the ‘Schedule A’ worksheet (), but right now it seems this has to all be sorted through and entered manually.
(Previously we were filing for our city, our county, and state for California, and not broken out by all of these locally nuanced counties if that makes sense)
That’s our goal @Matt Walker - output in the exact format you need. And… perhaps just file it for you.
